Laura Novoa is an independent curator and the founder of LMN Projects. Dedicated to creating conceptually rigorous, collaborative, and community-driven programming, her practice operates at the intersection of culture and civic engagement. Working across exhibitions, public programming, and institutional partnerships, she is committed to supporting artists while fostering meaningful dialogue between cultural spaces and the communities they serve.

Her curatorial projects include Chris Friday’s solo exhibition Good Times at Oolite Arts (2023); Yo vengo de todas partes, y hacia todas partes voy, a site-specific installation by Amanda Linares at Piero Atchugarry Gallery (2024), and A landscape longed for: the garden as disturbance presented at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum (2024) and Locust Projects (2021). She is currently co-curating the upcoming South Florida Cultural Consortium (SFCC) group exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (MoCA). 

From 2018 - 2025, she served as the Assistant Director at the Bakehouse Art Complex, where she oversaw the studio residency program, developed strategic partnerships, and managed public programming and exhibitions. As a public arts advocate, she serves in an advisory capacity with the City of Miami’s Art in Public Places and was selected to participate in the French Ministry of Culture’s Courants du monde program, an international residency for cultural professionals. Novoa has additional institutional experience working with Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and the Pérez Art Museum Miami. She holds an MA in Curating from the University of Essex and a BA in Art History and Communications from Saint Louis University–Madrid. Currently, she lives and works in Miami, FL.

Novoa is available for curatorial commissions, exhibition and project management, writing, and speaking engagements, collaborating with artists, institutions, and organizations to realize thoughtful and impactful cultural projects.
